Haji Datuk Penghulu Sati Alimin was born in Suliki, West Sumatera in 1909. In 1935 he became an active member of the Minangkabau Rad ( People's Consultative Assemblyof Minangkabau). In 1941 he went to visit A. Hasan in Bangil, East Java. His first book was the collection of works of M. Natsir ( former Indonesian Prime Minister), entitled Capita Selecta vol 1 ans 2 in 1954-57. His second book was the collection of Islamic Lectures book by M. Zain Djambek. In 1975 he wrote "Comparative Religion in the World". The author was a lecturer on comparative religions at PTI Islamic Unversity Training College in Sumatera. He passed away peacefully inPayakumbuh in 1990. This book has no bearing on Islamic propagation.
